Pastoral Associate - Pam Priadko

Alex and I have just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary. We have four adult children and three grandchildren. We have lived in Seacombe Gardens parish all our married lives and we are active members of the church community.

I am a naturopath, and had my own practice till May last year when I started as pastoral associate here in Brighton Parish. Alex and I are part of the leadership team for Marriage Encounter and have been involved in various ways in this ministry for 25 years. I am studying at the Adelaide College of Divinity, in the Ministry Formation Programme.

We travel whenever we can. This year a trip to Turkey and Greece, including a cruise of the Greek islands and then to the Ukraine where Alex’s parents came from. I enjoy playing golf, walking and reading and spending time with my children and grandchildren.

As Pastoral Associate in the parish I am involved in the Preparation of families for Baptism, and preparation of children for the sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and Eucharist. I support the Bereavement team and the Baptism preparation team, and Family Groups. I co ordinate the RCIA program in Brighton and Seacombe Gardens. I work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and am available in the Parish office for any parishioners on those days.
